Cheryl L. Jennings
Cheryl L. Jennings graduated with honors with her Juris Doctor degree from The
Ohio State University College of Law in 1988. During law school, Ms. Jennings
applied for and was awarded a Judicial Externship with the Federal District
Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Ms. Jennings also earned her Bachelor
of Science degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University
where she majored in Finance and graduated cum laude in 1985.
Prior to joining the Thomas & Company firm, Ms. Jennings developed her extensive
Labor and Employment career working as a key leader at three Fortune 500
companies. During her vast and varied career, Ms. Jennings has been responsible
for all aspects of the operation of Human Resources and Labor Relations
organizations. Specifically, Ms. Jennings has experience in labor relations
contract negotiations, HR compliance programs, polices and reports, Workers'
Compensation, organization restructuring/talent upgrades, professional
recruiting and staffing processes, as well as, on-going advice and support to
all levels of management in day-to-day and strategic human resources and labor
relations matters.
Additionally, Ms. Jennings has volunteered and devoted a great deal of her own
time to various charitable and other non-profit causes. For several years, she
lead the United Way Campaign efforts of one of her former Fortune 100 employers,
as well as serving as the Programs Chairperson of their central Ohio non-profit
Executive Committee and participating in their local Diversity Task Force. For
her children's school district, she has served as Recording Secretary of the
Parent School Organization (PSO), as well as, chairperson of several other PSO
committees. Ms. Jennings also served as Secretary of the Executive Board of the
Southeast Recovery & Mental Health Care Services Board of Trustees in Columbus.
Ms. Jennings is licensed to practice law in Ohio and is a member of the Ohio
State Bar Association. An avid Ohio State football fan, Ms. Jennings resides
with her husband and two daughters in Dublin, Ohio.
