Robert H. Monnaville
After several years of acting as Attorney of Counsel, the Thomas & Company law firm is thrilled to have Robert H. Monnaville join the firm as a full-time attorney. Mr. Monnaville is an experienced labor attorney with extensive corporate experience in manufacturing and wholesale distribution. Mr. Monnaville obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland State University and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University. Additionally, Mr. Monnaville's impressive background also includes service to his country as he was a Captain with the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Monnaville's vast and varied record of accomplishments in the business world include leading, as President/Chief Executive Officer, several multi-million dollar businesses. In those roles, he was responsible for new business acquisitions, market assessment and competitive strategy development, business consolidation and streamlining, performance-based human resource development and talent upgrades, and financial analysis for increased productivity.
Mr. Monnaville has complimented his extensive corporate background with a successful private law practice for nearly the past ten years. In his practice, Mr. Monnaville not only continues to grow his significant labor/employment and corporate legal experience, but also has expanded his practice to include workers' compensation, domestic relations, and criminal defense work. Additionally, Mr. Monnaville is actively involved in Alternative Dispute Resolution activities being named a preferred Arbitrator/Mediator for several organizations including the National Center for Dispute Resolution in Dallas, Texas, the United States Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service Panel, and the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas panel of
Domestic Relations Mediators. Mr. Monnaville also has been named as a Member of the Board of Directors for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Connecticut.
Mr. Monnaville is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Connecticut. He also devotes a significant amount of his personal time to charitable and other non-profit causes including serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Delaware Law Library. Mr. Monnaville has two grown children, one grandson and currently resides with his wife in Columbus, Ohio.
